  • Job Title: Inside SaaS Sales Representative
    Position: Full Time

    Job Description

    Bryx is searching for an experienced SaaS Inside Sales Representative to join our dynamic team onsite in Rochester, NY. We are looking for a driven sales professional with an entrepreneurial spirit, desire to take ownership of their role, and an interest in supporting the continued growth of the company.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree required
    • Four to six years of related experience preferred

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Build relationships with prospects and grow the footprint of Bryx's Mass Notification System.
      Out of state territories apply.
    • Develop a deep understanding of the Bryx platform, the market, and the competition
    • Perform online web demos with qualified prospects
    • Follow up on highly qualified opportunities with school districts, public safety departments and businesses.
    • Work collaboratively with internal marketing and technology departments to execute sales strategies as the company introduces product enhancements and/or releases new products
    • Stay current on news, issues, and changes with the Bryx platform that could affect prospects
    • Strong understanding of Saas sales cycles, from prospecting and demoing to closing and onboarding.
    • Familiarity with mobile applications and cloud-based software solutions preferred.
    • Experience working with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and managing a sales pipeline.

     

    Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):

    • Proven track record of success in inside/outside sales, including superior communication skills and exceptional closing skills
    • Proven experience building relationships with and managing professional level business accounts
    • Must be tech-savvy and enjoy working with current technologies within a business environment
    • Must be comfortable interacting with C-Level management
    • Comfort and experience giving sales presentations through the use of videoconferencing software and at times in person at trade shows
    • Experience and comfort with working autonomously as well as collaboratively in a team environment

    Job Description

    As a Customer Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our fire station alerting systems run smoothly. This position requires strong Linux troubleshooting skills and exceptional customer-facing abilities, as you’ll be working directly with fire departments to resolve technical issues while providing outstanding support. This role involves a rotating on-call schedule.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide technical support for fire station alerting systems as well as our free mobile application.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Linux systems, network configurations, and software applications.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to escalate complex technical issues and facilitate timely resolutions.
    • Communicate clearly with customers, guiding them through troubleshooting steps and technical solutions.
    • De-escalate challenging situations with empathy and professionalism to maintain positive customer relationships.
    • Document technical issues and resolutions to enhance our knowledge base and improve future support efforts.
    • Participate in training sessions and contribute to team development initiatives.
    • Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):
    • Proven experience in technical support roles, preferably with a focus on Linux environments and networking.

    • Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve Linux-related issues.

    • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in customer-facing roles.

    • Familiarity with conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques.

    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

    • Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools is beneficial.

    • Strong understanding and ability to troubleshoot low-voltage systems is a plus.
