Scenario 1: Sending a Message

  • An administrator can create a new message.
    • Message details (“from” email and phone, criticality level)

  • OR an administrator can select from a templated message.
    • Templates include predefined: 
      • Message details (“from” email and phone, criticality level)
      • Audience configuration

    • Admin can override information on template, review and send it
  • Ability to attach images and documents

Step 2

Message Received

  • The audience receives the message, both public and dispatch officials. 
      • SMS, Phone Call, Email, and Mobile Push (from a single message)
  • PSAP/CAD receives notification

Step 3

First Responders Dispatched

  • In an emergency situation, dispatch determines whether first responders are necessary
    • Dispatch creates job 
      • Bryx Mobile App - notifies users of the job/incident see bryx mobile for more details

Bryx Station - Alerts associated Firehouses of incident including automation at the station. see station alerting for more details

Scenario 2: Panic Button Activated

Step 1

Panic Button Pressed

  • In the case of an emergency the Bryx Panic Button is activated
    • Activation triggers automation at a location. see station alerting for more details
    • Activation can also trigger a Mass Notification

Step 2

Templated Message Sent

  • A preset message template configured to send on panic button activation
    • Message contents and audience can vary 
      • Recommend limited internal audience to safeguard from accidental messages being sent to mass audiences
    • Audience can include PSAP/dispatched centers for rapid dispatch of first responders
  • MNS and panic button activation gives the ability to provide immediate situational awareness to users on and off site
