Bryx is proudly located in downtown Rochester, NY, where we have our manufacturing and support centers.
Started in the firehouse. Built to that standard ever since.

Our story
Bryx started in the firehouse, for the firehouse. We built our alerting platform to solve one problem: get a fire crew moving faster, every single time. That standard, defined by sub-second alerts and zero tolerance for a missed notification, shaped everything we built, from station automation and zoned alerting to a mobile app utilized by more than 2,000 agencies across the country.
Along the way, we realized the same problem existed far beyond the station. Retailers, schools, hospitals, and offices needed the same thing fire departments did: a way to know the moment something's wrong and get the right person moving immediately, whether that's a silent panic button reaching a manager or security officer, a mass notification reaching an entire workforce in seconds, or building automation triggering alarms and signage across a facility. The difference was, we'd already built it. Extending our platform beyond public safety didn't mean starting over. It meant putting infrastructure that already worked, at scale, in the hands of people who needed it just as much.
That's still how we build today. One alerting core runs everything, so panic buttons, mass notification, and building automation all work together instead of operating as separate tools bolted together after the fact. We prove it where the stakes are highest, in public safety, then bring that same reliability to everyone who needs it.
