JOB OPENINGS:

SENIOR DEVOPS ENGINEER:

 

Role Overview:

  • The DevOps Engineer is responsible for operating, maintaining, and securing Bryx Cloud and Local infrastructure. This includes keeping infrastructure services up to date, staying on top of the latest technologies & security vulnerabilities, and spinning up or shutting down new systems as needed by development and expansion.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience with DevOps processes, building up and maintaining infrastructure
  • Education
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/related field, equivalent industry experience, or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
  • Technical
    • Well versed in the following: AWS, Kubernetes, Helm, RabbitMQ, MongoDB, Postgresql, RedisDB, Cloudflare, Terraform, Gitlab CI/CD
    • Basic understanding of Unix Systems
    • Comfortable using Git for source control
    • Knowledgeable of DevOps design principles and patterns
    • Knowledge of any of the following a plus: Tailscale, Open Telemetry, Grafana, AWS Gov,, cert-manager, dependabot (gitlab), Python, PagerDuty, 3CX
  • Interpersonal
    • Ability to collaborate with others
    • Ability to work with customers to resolve issues

Responsibilities:

  • Technical
    • Understanding the Bryx Infrastructure
    • Contribute improvements to infrastructure management and deployment and CI / CD
    • Assist in security analysis of the infrastructure
    • Be available in case of platform emergencies on a rotating (on-call) basis
    • Assist in performance testing and benchmarking
    • Lead/assist in test runs of emergency protocols

    • Contribute to DevOps pipeline
    • Assist in development of emergency protocols

SENIOR FRONTEND ENGINEER:

 

Role Overview:

  • As a Senior Frontend Software Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping the architecture and development of our React and TypeScript-based web applications. You'll help drive modernization efforts, improve performance, implement new features, and enhance user experiences across a mix of new and legacy applications. Our primary stack includes React and TypeScript, built with Vite and deployed on Kubernetes. We have a slate of web applications that use either REST APIs or GraphQL. You’ll also contribute to modernizing older applications built with Webpack and older versions of React and Typescript. While this is a frontend-focused role, familiarity with our broader tech stack - including Kotlin, MongoDB, and Postgres databases - is a significant advantage.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a frontend developer, with a strong focus on React and TypeScript.
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/related field, or equivalent industry experience
  • Technical
    • Deep understanding of state management and data fetching in the React ecosystem
    • A good eye and a knack for building clean, responsive, and adaptive user interfaces.
    • Proficiency with build tools and bundling/transpiling.
    • Understanding of frontend performance optimization techniques.
    • Familiarity with REST, GraphQL, and websockets.
  • Interpersonal
    • Strong problem-solving and communication skills with a team-first mindset.

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience migrating legacy web applications or modernizing tech stacks.
  • Writing and maintaining automated tests using testing frameworks.
  • Knowledge across the stack: particularly Kotlin, MongoDB, and Postgres.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and devops, including AWS and Cloudflare.

    • Advocate for and implement best practices in frontend architecture, code quality, and testing.
