Technical Support

Bryx currently performs support activities in-house at our Rochester, New York headquarters. We have a rotating shift schedule twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Typically, between the hours of 6am and 12am, support tickets are addressed within a 3-4 hour window. Between the hours of 12am and 6am, support tickets are typically addressed within a 4-6 hour window.

Support tickets are triaged as they come in, so urgent issues are typically addressed as higher priorities. The engineers who built the Bryx platform are the same engineers who handle all support tickets and calls, so our expertise and knowledge of the system is unrivaled.

At Bryx, we have tried to reduce that stress as much as possible by easing the process of installation. Our engineers have intuitively designed the Bryx Station as a do-it-yourself system that can be self-installed and running effectively on the same day — little to no station measurements or renovations required. Highly configurable to the specific needs of each department, the Bryx Station offers ultimate flexibility in alerting through its use of Commercial-Off-The-Shelf products such as 1080p monitors and Philips Hue color-changing lights.

Bryx Station Installation

Installation of the Bryx Station is simple. Other station alert systems may require extensive pre-installation measurements, drawn-out periods of manufacturing, and days of labor at each station to fully install their systems. For the Firefighters involved, such a process amounts to little more than a hassle and inconvenience, hindering them from completing their daily operations and adding stress to an already stressful job.

WARRANTIES

The Bryx platform uses commercial-off-the-shelf hardware wherever possible. As such, we structure support contracts such that the customer is responsible for maintaining the COTS components of the system. Specifically, the TV/monitors, wiring, and lighting. The Bryx Station Box includes an unlimited warranty for as long as a maintenance agreement is in place between Bryx and your Department. If the Bryx Station Box fails or malfunctions for any reason whatsoever, Bryx will provide a replacement box free of charge; and whenever possible, the Bryx Station Alerting box will be shipped overnight with next day delivery.
