Streamlined Emergency Response Starts At The PSAP

We understand that streamlining emergency response starts at the public-safety access point (PSAP). Our cloud-based mobile and fire station alerting platform lightens dispatcher workload and simplifies 911 center operations—no PSAP hardware required.

Bryx offers multiple ways to receive data from your CAD, accepting data via numerous transports, including HTTPS, SMTP/TLS, SNPP, and email. For any given transport, we accept data in many different encodings, including JSON, XML, CSV, Key-Value Pair, and more.

All data is stored in geographically dispersed databases. Each database is encrypted at rest and accessed only with Salted Challenge Response Authentication Mechanism (SCRAM).

Bryx Dispatch Courier
While other alerting solutions require hardware installation in the PSAP, our team takes a software-only approach to make things easier and more secure for you. Bryx Dispatch Courier, our patent-pending approach to receiving data from any CAD using the existing infrastructure in the PSAP, can be installed on any computer - Windows, Mac, or Linux. The software takes calls exported from your CAD, and securely sends them to our cloud for processing.

No Workflow Disruption
Since we don't require hardware at the PSAP, our mobile and station alerting system can be up and running in the same day without disrupting your operations.

100% Cloud-Based Platform
With the exception of the station control unit that resides in your station, the Bryx platform is a 100% cloud-based solution. For the direct CAD interface, we prefer that your department use Bryx Dispatch Courier. If your department does not want to utilize our dispatch courier or a virtual server, we can provide a commercially available server at our cost, or your department can choose to supply one. Additionally, you can simply send an email with raw call data, and we'll take it from there.

NFPA Compliance
Bryx helps to maintain NFPA 1221 compliance by providing secure and redundant alerting pathways. Our solutions empower first responders to work faster, smoother, and smarter, helping to improve response times and exceed NFPA 1710 recommendations. We constantly review NFPA guidelines to maintain compliance and keep your agency running strong.

“Bryx makes a dispatcher’s job much easier. The ability for the crew to have information at the same time that we do is critical. We can focus on taking calls and working with walk-ins while crews are getting updates in real time.” Charles Vitale
