Graphic Designer

Job Title: Graphic Designer
Position: Full Time
Location: Rochester, NY

General Summary:
Bryx is looking for a highly collaborative and forward-thinking graphic designer. Candidates should have proven experience with creating and working within branding standards, designing content to illustrate technical concepts, and working with internal demands to meet tight deadlines. The successful candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit and a strong track record of effective teamwork, innovation, and dedication to enhancing user experience.

Job Responsibilities:
Concept, create and deliver a strong design solution across various branded materials including but not limited to emails, website banners, digital display ads, and social ads.
Develop and contribute to graphics, assets and campaign elements for our brand, products and events — all to the required creative standards, specifications and deadlines.
Find and work with external vendors to create promotional materials which can include apparel, supplies, signage, and more.
Maintain and keep design systems, icon sets, and brand guidelines current.
Keeps all presentation assets and sales materials up to date.
Work with the engineering department to create designs for custom shipping materials, hardware design, and more.
Prepare and package spec files for print/web.
Take on additional design projects as needed, including but not limited to illustration, photography, photo-retouching, and so on.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design.
Minimum of 2 years of related experience in Graphic Design, Interactive Design, UX/UI Design, or a related field.
Portfolio exhibiting a mix of digital and print, including branding and identity, display ads, website and responsive design.
Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
Must be comfortable working independently on projects and on team projects.
Analyze, define, and recommend visual identity standards and guidelines.
Must have ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
Must possess the ability to work under time constraints and deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
Organized and detail-oriented.
Self-motivated, passionate, empathetic and fun.
Excellent design capabilities with an ability to execute.
Programs
Proficiency with WordPress
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Adobe Acrobat
Adobe Premiere Pro is a plus
